INTRODUCTION 

JBD-AP21S002 is a software protection board scheme specially designed for 7~21 strings of lithium battery packs. The product adopts architecture of front-end acquisition chip + MCU, and some parameters can be flexibly adjusted through the host computer according to customer needs.

Supplementary note:

Continuous standing for 65000s (settable) will automatically disconnect therelay and reduce the standby power consumption of BMS. A large charge discharge current will be identified through the pre charge discharge circuit, and then close the relay.

Quick UK delivery very impressed.
BMS 300A version a little overkill for my needs until I add more batteries.
Initial setup was ok but you must follow the diagram instruction precisely where it shows for instant an 8s cell 6-19 balance cable s must all connect together. I have seen videos where people have claim you cut the excess cables do not the BMS it will not after.
It is an active balancer which means it’s switching is quite audible when it shuts on and off charge or discharge ports respectively. I am having an issue with this switching on and off sound when connected to a 3kw inverter on a lower current than 2Amp. Have tried changing APP parameters to recognised a lower input mA voltage of 50mA but keeps going back to 200mA standard setting which is unhelpful. Not sure if it’s an app issue or BMS range won’t go to 50mA.
Other than this seems to balance much better than other BMS’s. The Xiaoxiang app worked at first then I installed the Elephant App and the App stopped working.
Will update you as soon as these things get fixed.

This is the first JBD BMS that I have installed. I was very impressed with the quality and assembly of the unit. It would be very helpful to have a detailed wiring schematic included with the unit. We are building a 12s 36 volt 304 ah battery and cannot find a wiring schematic for that voltage. We have it paired and all inputs entered however it says it has 14 cells and we can not change it to get a cell voltage read out. Still working on it.

Will this unit work with the JBD-LCD02-RS485? I keep getting a ‘Connection Error’ message on the screen. This connects using the RS485 connector on the left side of the circuit board.
